COMPETITION RULES
Autonomous Mangala: Strategic Excellence
1. TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The competition follows the "Great Steppe League" format, a single round-robin tournament where all 8 participating nations compete against each other.
- Duration: 28 matches held over 2 days.
- Match Length: Each match is limited to exactly 30 moves.
- Time Blocks: 20 minutes per match (13 min play + 7 min transition).
2. MOVE TYPES & EXECUTION
The UAV must depart from the hover zone, navigate to the target pit, perform a precision drop, and return to hover zone within ~40 seconds.
Strategic moves executed via software within a 10-second limit to maintain game flow and pressure.
3. SCORING SYSTEM
| Action | Points |
|---|---|
| Valid Autonomous Drop | +5 Points |
| Treasury Stone (Hazine) | +1 Point per stone |
| Match Victory Bonus | +20 Points |
4. TECHNICAL CONSTRAINTS
- Safety Protocol: All UAVs must maintain a steady hover in the designated "Safe Airspace" while waiting for their turn.
- Lift Compensation: Systems must autonomously compensate for the sudden change in lift force during the saka-release sequence within milliseconds.
- Multi-Saka Logic: In the event of an accidental multiple-saka drop, the software will prioritize the pit with the highest stone count to resume the move.
* To ensure technical parity, all UAV components, assembly tools, and Mangala game software will be provided by the organization. Teams shall be solely responsible for the development of all necessary firmware-level scripts, including ArduPilot Lua (on-board) and EdgeTX Lua (ground-station), to facilitate autonomous mission logic.
